Theme of Slackathon MTL
This hackathon has a theme: slack. Slack is an instant chat platform that is becoming more and more popular with businesses. My internship company has preferred Slack over Skype which is no longer used. Slack contains robots that have all sorts of features. For developers, it makes sending portions of code to a colleague really easy through their “code snippet” feature.
The aim of the projects created during the hackathon is to help organizations improve their working environment by creating a Slack robot that can simplify work habits, increase productivity and employee happiness.
