It’s been 2 or 3 weeks that I have not done weekly update. Why ? Classes resumed and I was a lot busier than expected! Last week I organized with my student club Les Ingénieuses our first “5 à 7”. It took a lot of time. Fortunately, the event was a success at my college!
- Microsoft will close its Skype office in London (TechCrunch) – Because I miss London so, so much.
- I’m a Woman in Tech, and I don’t feel like I’ve been held back at all (Huffington Post) – Very true article that I agree with 100%! Especially when she says being a woman in a male profession has the advantage that other people remember our faces and remember us from a conference to another – which is a great advantage! Also, when it mentions that she’s never really certain if she gets a job because she is a woman or because she has the qualifications …
- Twitter’s new, ‘simpler’ rules for character counts in tweets go live (TechCrunch) – I do not really think that all these changes are very simple for now! I was not even aware we could do @. ! I’m sure my friend Tech In Heels will have fun to get used to the changes! 😉
- Instagram rolls out a “Save draft” feature for all its users (TechCrunch) – I could already save my drafts ! But I must admit I didn’t know how to recover them…
I also published an article on how to install Mailchimp for free and without a plugin on a multilingual WordPress (or not) !
